He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland B. Miller and Mary Mae Miller (Conner); his wife Carol S. Kindle (Whitten); his grandsons, Preston Schrader and Andrew Duncan; and his sister Cassondra Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl (Robert Duncan), Dawn (David Boone) and Richard; his daughter-in-law Daphne Kindle of Daphne, Alabama; his grandchildren, Bonnie, Jodi, Amanda, Cori, Richard, Lyndy, Tim, Erik, Alyssa and Sophia; his sister-in-law Robin (Anne Kindle); his sister Sioux; and his brother-in-law Rick Young of Bismarck, Missouri. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; other extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Unity Baptist Church (2500 St Clair Ave, Granite City, IL 62040). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
