He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Robert, Dolores Sanders, Earl and Wilma Penrod. He is survived by: his parents, Gary Ray and Donna Rae Penrod (Sanders) of Granite City; his friend Jake; his children, Tyler Penrod of Granite City and Jaylee Penrod of Granite City; his brother Ryan; and his sister-in-law Bethany Penrod of Maryland Heights, Missouri. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles; cousins; other extended family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Central Christian Church (2020 Johnson Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
