He was predeceased by: his father Eugene H. Gunderson; his grandparents, Dan, Ethel Sheehan (Ryckman), Harold and Ruby Gunderson (Foster); his aunts and uncles, Elaine, Robert Grayson, Loyal, Nina Gunderson and Evelyn Ingram; and his cousin Michael Gunderson.
He is survived by: his mother Lois Jean Gunderson (Sheehan) of Granite City, Illinois; his brother Eric Gunderson (Dawn) of Granite City, Illinois; his nieces, Marlee Graham (Jarred), Olivia Gunderson, Samantha Nunn (Brandon) and Sarah Zezoff (Chase); and his cousins, Dan Grayson, Rebecca Wilgus, Kathy Springman, Dan Ingram, Paul Ingram and Julie Cooke. He is also survived by several great nieces, great nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Irwin Chapel (3960 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
