In the vast expanse of eternity, Billie Hope shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Billie Hope farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her father Henry Otto Hartmann; her husband Arthur "Art" William Meier; and her sister Margie Fay Stanton. She is survived by: her mother Marguerite Frances Hartmann (Doty); her children, Susan Fay Roentz (Rick) of Granite City, IL and David Arthur Meier (Elizabeth) of Northbrook, IL; and her grandchildren, Ryan Arthur Roentz of Granite City, IL and Abigail Rebecca Meier of Northbrook, IL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Irwin Chapel (3960 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be given to Lutheran Child & Family Services or to the charity of the donor's choice.
