It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Ann Johnson of Granite City, Illinois, who passed away on June 25, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Wise and Opal Wise (Layton); her son Jerome D. Johnson Jr.; and her brothers, Rudolph Hunt, Gerald Hunt and Robert Garner.
She is survived by: her husband Jerome D. Johnson; her children, Leisa, Dusty Ragsdale of Granite City, Ruthan Withers (Lester Dennis) of Granite City and Jason Johnson (Cathy) of Edwardsville; and her grandchildren, Leslie Ragsdale (Jack McComas) of Jacksonville, N. C., Michael Withers of Pontoon Beach, IL., Christina Hill (Eric) of Edwardsville, IL., Jacob Johnson (Amberly Mayes) of Granite City, IL., Leah Dine (Nick) of Edwardsville, IL. and Rachel Johnson (Jason Kennon) of Potosi, MO.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
