It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel J. Myers of Grand Tower, Illinois, who passed away on March 19, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Lymar and Frieda Alice Myers (Carter); his siblings, Richard "Dick" Myers (Tootie) and Denise (Howard); and his siblings-in-law, Judy K. Dillow (Woodard) and Samuel D. Woodard, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Lee [Woodard] Myers; his children, Kerry Joe Myers, Vickie Lynn [Myers] Ellet (Jon) and Dana Leigh [Myers] Crain (Jason); his grandchildren, Ethan Wayne Myers (Kristina), Dalton Wade Myers (Kimberly), Kyle Wade Ellet (Mallory), Gavyn Lee Ellet (Desiree), Madilyn Rose Ellet (Zachery), Ryleigh Maison Clover, Maddox Ryan Crain and Landrey Raegan Crain; his great grandchildren, Cole, Avery, Leighton, Skylar, Reese, Brody, Hudson and Walker; his siblings, Jerry Myers (Mary Lou) and Monty Myers (Laurie); his nieces, Lana [Myers] Fite (Doug) and Cindy [Myers] McDaniel (Chuck); and his nephew Jay Pierce (Angela). He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
