Delores Houston Obituary

As Delores departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Delores. Though Delores may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin G. Walker and Ruby H. Walker (Johnson); her husband Walter "Fred" Houston; and her brothers, Ray Johnson, Harold Walker and Donald Walker.
She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Thompson (Greg); her grandchildren, Leigh Thompson and Logan Thompson; and her sister-in-law Sharon Johnson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Walker Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
