He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Griffith and Nellie Griffith (Cox); and his son Charles "Herb" Griffith. He is survived by: his children, Harold "Shorty" Griffith (Patricia) of Grand Tower, Gerald "Jerry" Griffith of Grand Tower, Debbie Choate (John) of Ava and Kathy Browder of Murphysboro; and his siblings, Kenny Griffith of Georgia, Ed Griffith of St. Louis, MO, Jane Ann Hartline of Carterville and Corine Cluck of Centralia. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
