He is survived by: his son Ken Bernard (Melissa) of Grand Ridge; and his grandchildren, James, Emily, Joseph and Joshua Bernard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grand Ridge Funeral Home (125 Sylvan Ave, Grand Ridge, IL 61325). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (101 Trinity Dr, Streator, IL 61364).
Memorials may be made to the Grand Ridge Fire Department or the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
