It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Harsted of Grand Ridge, Illinois, born in Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Kuhn and Veronica Kuhn (Kerrigan); her sisters, Ann Bedecker and Bonnie Hill; and her granddaughter-in-law Jenni Keith Harsted.
She is survived by: her sons, Donald Jr. of Grand Ridge, Michael (LeeAnn) of Streator, Robert (Sandy) of Deer Park, James (Kelly) of Grand Ridge and Paul (Trista) of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Andrew Harsted (Rani), Tanyr Harsted, Alex Harsted, Michelle Harsted (Joe Miller), Josh Harsted (Carley), Robbie Harsted (Rachel), Kenny Harsted, Chris Harsted (Megan Hoster), Nick Harsted, Haley Haines (Josiah), Cassidy Stacy (Charlie) and Ethan Harsted; and her siblings, Clarence "Bud" Kuhn (Norma) of Grand Ridge and Edna Talty (Roger) of Ransom. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
