It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin Leslie Walter (Grand Ridge, Illinois), who passed away on April 23, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Walter and Edna Walter (Hallett); his brothers, Dale Walter and Ray Walter; and his siblings-in-law, Rosemary Walter and Don Wade.
He is survived by: his children, Adam Walter (Brooke) of Grand Ridge, Ted Walter (Cynthia) of Huntington Beach, CA and Kerri Walter Blunk (Jason) of Marseilles; his grandchildren, Preston, Caden, Owen Walter, Nolan Blunk, Dorothy and Davis Walter; his siblings, Dean, Carl (Wendi), Elmer (Rachel Parker), Kenny and Janis Wade; and his former wife Linda Kay Walter (Dooley). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the Grand Ridge Volunteer Fire Department, where his grandson Preston is an active volunteer.
