She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis W. Antram and Eva Antram (Patterson); her husband Roy Kates; her siblings, Edna Scott, Marjorie King and Wilford Antram; her grandsons, Randy Kates and Keith Young; and her children-in-law, Richard Young and Mary Kates.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Kates of Streator, Janet Young of Aurora and Janice Stalter (Lawrence) of Princeton; her granddaughter Susan Grigas (Tom) of Leola, PA; and her great grandchildren, Christopher, William and Alex Grigas. She is also survived by 5 nieces, & 1 nephew.
Memorials may be directed to the Grand Ridge Methodist Church or the Grand Rapids Cemetery.
