He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Catherine; his grandson Alec Kowalczyk; his great grandchild Brenlee Pagakis; and his brothers, William C. "Bill" Connors and Edward Connors.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanine Roux (Ingold); his children, Mary Connors of Bartlett, Joyce Bardson (Brian) of Grand Ridge, Michael Connors of LaSalle, Jim Roux (Michelle) of Grand Ridge, Jamie Kowalczyk (Bob) of Montgomery and Tracey Connors; his grandchildren, Nataley Kowalczyk, Austin Kowalczyk, Oliva Kowalczyk, Jacob Robin, Emma Robin, Molly Bardson, Maggie Pagakis (Matt), Matthew "Buck" Roux and Madison Roux; his great grandchildren, Brody Pagakis, Brinxlei Pagakis and Noah Kowalczyk; and his sisters, Margaret Gerace of Ottawa and Ann Gerace of LaSalle.
