With heavy hearts, we announce the death of JoAnne Olson of Grand Ridge, Illinois, born in Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on December 16, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Collins and Anna Collins (Pastorik); her husband Roger Olson; her brother John Roger Collins; and her sisters-in-law, Joan Fincham, Marsha Sulkey and Barb Kerwin.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Kyle Olson, Matthew Boyd and Aidan Boyd; her children, Gregg Olson (Mary) of Ottawa, Jeff Olson (Jill) of Ladd, Brian Olson (Lisa) of Augusta, GA and Kristy Boyd (Joe) of Hudson; her grandchildren, Gabriella Crivilare, Ethan Olson, Jeremy Lurz, Kristen Leaf (Nick), Karsyn Olson and Leah Boyd; her great grandchildren, Savannah, Tyler, Amelia, Harley, Caylee, Bentley and Kaylee; and her sister Kay Olson (Doyle) of Ottawa.
Memorials may be made to the Grand Ridge Volunteer Fire Department.
