He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Walter and Edna Walter (Hallett); and his sister-in-law Rosemary Walter. He is survived by: his siblings, Dean Walter of Sheridan, Ray Walter (Jane) of Darlington, WI, Carl Walter (Wendi) of Verona, WI, Elmer Walter of Grand Ridge, Kevin Walter of Grand Ridge, Kenneth Walter of Grand Ridge and Janis Wade (Don) of Rushville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM at the funeral home with social distancing being followed and mask being worn.
Memorials may be made in his name to the Grand Ridge Volunteer Fire Department or the Grand Ridge United Methodist Church.
