He was predeceased by: his wife Connie June Cato Dover; his parents, Dewey Sr. Dover and Flora Ann Murphy Dover; and his siblings, Ella Smoot, Elizabeth Taylor, Alice Inman, Raymond, Dewey Jr. and James Dover.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Dover Jr. (Sam) of Grand Chain, Deana Dover of Grand Chain and Debra Sue Bard of Paducah, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Jason, Jeffrey Lee and Hailey Anderson; and his great grandchildren, Autumn, Emett, Aubree Lee, Maverick and Isilee Anderson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
