He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bland and Blanche Bland (Heitzman); his daughter Caren Bland; and his siblings, Irene Bland, Judith "Judy" Kassler, Larry Bland, Richard "Dick" Bland, Robert "Bill" Bland, Jack Bland and Frederick Heitzman.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Bland of Grafton, Whitney Hollander (Dustin) of Hillsboro, Justin Bland (Karen) of Jerseyville and Erika Berry; his grandchildren, Selana, Kasie, Alexis, Avah, Cayden, Kaylee, Kennadi, Khloe, Brayden, Corbin and Lennon; and his siblings, Nancy Booth of Dow, Roberta Donelson (Steve) of Godfrey, Shirley Young (Delbert) of Dow, Betty Summers of Greenfield, Ed Bland (Linda) of Godfrey and James Bland (Vickie) of Jerseyville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be given to the family, in care of the funeral home.
