It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert William Hill of Grafton, Illinois, who passed away on June 18, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Randolph Burl and Josephine Hill (Wright); his son Steven Matthew Hill; his great grandchild Lana Lynn Hill; his son-in-law Charlie DeSherlia; his siblings, Joanne Shook and Kenneth Hill; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Velma Shanks.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Hill of Jerseyville; his children, Rhonda DeSherlia of Jerseyville and Randolph "Rudy"; and his daughter-in-law Maria Hill of Jerseyville. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
