It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Dwight Rowling of Grafton, Illinois, who passed away on November 3, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ross and Eva Rowling (Hart); his sons, John Douglas Rowling and Daniel L. Rowling; his grandson Nicholas Rowling; and his siblings, Virginia Wilson, Charlotte Townsend, George Ernest, Robert, Samuel, Wayne, Roy Lee, Richard and Paul Kenneth (Pearl James Rowling).
He is survived by: his wife Flo Rowling of Grafton; his son David; his daughter-in-law Lois Rowling of Grafton; his grandchildren, Justin Rowling (Sarah Rowling) of Virginia, Rebekah (Jacob McAtee) of Godfrey and Luke (Tiffany Rowling) of Jerseyville; and his great grandchildren, Lydia, Lorelai McAtee, Josie, Fletcher and Archer John Rowling. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
