He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Martin and Gertrude Mary Stromske (Miller); his brothers, James, Thomas and Edward Stromske; his sisters-in-law, Wanda and Jean; and his nephew Alan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shannon Walker (Kevin) of Godfrey and Haylie Elmendorf (Jason) of Alton; his grandchildren, Laura Mugge (Bob Morrill) of East Alton, Nola Effinger, Devin, Leena Walker, Marian, James, John Elmendorf, Brady Morrill, Maya and Nicolas Mugge; and his friend Mike Walters. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His last legacy was the gift of organ donation after his death.
