It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce Evelyn Stearns of Gorham, Illinois, born in Pomona, Illinois, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Gearhart and Evelyn Gearhart (Latchaw-Wright); and her siblings, Lindell Wright, Austin Wright, Donnie Wright, Jack Gearhart, Robert Wayne Gearhart, Judy Meade, Millie McGrath, Jane Meadows and Sharon Gearhart.
She is survived by: her husband Claude; her children, Heath Stearns of Murphysboro, IL. and Cheryl McCann (Adam) of Murphysboro, IL.; and her grandchildren, Bethany Cluster (Katie) of DeSoto, IL and William Stearns (Dana) of Greenbrier, AR.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
