He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenville Roach and Rose Roach (Swift); and his siblings, Theda Clarida and Gary Roach. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Kelley; his daughters, Lora Batson (Brannon) of Brooklyn and Lisa Mathews (Todd) of O'Fallon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Ollie Batson, Abby, Jack and Ben Mathews; and his siblings-in-law, Viola Roach of Johnston City, Illinois and Richard Kelley (Joyce) of Goreville, Illinois..

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (608 W Main St, Goreville, IL 62939). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Goreville First Baptist Church (608 W Main St, Goreville, IL 62939).
