She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Elmer and Opal Marie Newton (Shoemaker); her son Daniel; and her siblings, David, Cliff, Anita, Harry and Sharon.
She is survived by: her children, Lorie, Amy Pryor (Eddie), Tom Caplinger (Denise), Debra Caplinger and Tim Caplinger (Yvette); her grandchildren, Gabriel, Caleb, Josiah, Isaiah, Micah, Matthew, Dakota, Samantha, Clay, Daniel, Kayce, Austein, Myranda, Chris and Paige; her great grandchildren, Bentley, Emelia, Alaina, Aubrea and Mathew; her siblings, Susie, Gene, Gayla, Ronnie and Tom; and her son Juan Tovar Romo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crain Funeral Home - Egyptian Chapel (3208 S Park Ave, Energy, IL 62933). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Egyptian Memorial Gardens (3208 S Park Ave, Energy, IL 62933).
