She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Walker and Nellie Mae Swift (Ford); her husband Kenneth Ray Lawson; her siblings, Bobby Swift, Jimmy Swift, Willard Swift, Ruby Lavere and Mary Perkins; and her son-in-law Ed Parish.
She is survived by: her children, Ruby Purnell of Tunnel Hill, Rev. Joe Lawson (Gayla Lawson) of Creal Springs, Ben Lawson (Wilma Lawson) of Creal Springs, Nell Parish of Indiana, Anna Lawson of Goreville, Debra Perry (Shannon Perry) of Goreville, IL, Traci Horn of Cambria and Mary Lawson of Energy; and her siblings, Curtis (Brenda Swift), Darrell Swift of Benton, Frankie (Mike Bomar), Betty (Bob Miller) and Mildred (Kenny Mezo). She is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren.
