Clarence Tweedy Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2021, at the age of 95, Clarence Tweedy Jr. of Goreville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Alton and Virgie Tweedy (Bass); his former wives, Ruth Wilson and Lillian "Bea" Newton; his wife Ruby J. Youngblood; his daughter Kathy York; and his siblings, Christine Bost, Bernadine Sadler, Joan Bartruff, Janice "Mickey" Llewellyn and Richard "Dick" Tweedy.
He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Tweedy Stamp of Jonesboro; his grandchildren, Richard York (Jennifer), Timothy York, Camille Moorad (Jerry), Amy Radanavong (Joe), Sarah Clinton (Jason) and Brad Stamp; his great grandchildren, Kyle York, Emily Reed (Robert), Andrew Menees (Cierrah), Katlynn Menees, Jada Hudson, Molly Adams, Lauryn Radanavong, Mariel Moorad, Ellie Moorad and David Radanavong; his great great grandchildren, Max Menees and Norah Menees; his siblings, Carol Sue Gordon of Anna and Mike Tweedy (Bonnie) of The Villages, Florida; and his close friends, Martha Davis, Skip and Aggie Paul. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
At the request of the family, it is strongly encouraged that all those attending the visitation and funeral service please wear a face mask or covering.
