She was predeceased by: her parents, J. B. Newton and Dean Newton (Walker); her siblings, Diana Sue Newton and Dennis Allen "Denny" Newton; her nephew Joshua Newton King; and her grandparents, George, Betsy Newton, Andrew and Anna Mae Walker.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jimmy Newton of Goreville, Carla Newton of Goreville and Pat DuPont of South Daytona, Florida; her nephew Christopher DuPont of South Daytona, Florida; her cousin John Paul Billingsley; and her pet Cricket.
