With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bill Patterson of Goreville, Illinois, born in Clarksville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 22, 2020 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bill Patterson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Griffe and Mary Patterson (Marshall); his granddaughter Jessica Patterson; and his sister Agnes Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Verna Mae Patterson of Goreville; his daughter Monica Dawn Carroll of Jerseyville; his grandchildren, Kara Bevis (Jonathan), Markella Rutherford (James), Kyle Patterson (Kassey), Garrett Patterson (Alyssa) and Nathan Carroll; his great grandchildren, Avery, Lily Bevis and Wesley Patterson; and his sisters, Bonnie Arms of Clarksville and Ruby George (George) of Marion.
