Wyss of Goodfield, Illinois, born in Deer Creek, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 2, 2024 at the age of 97. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Wyss and Julia Wyss (Schick); his spouse Shirley Knapp; his brother Carl Wyss; and his grandson Justin Wyss.
He is survived by: his children, Marcia Waibel (Gerry), Bruce Wyss (Donna), Dale Wyss (Susie) and Chad Wyss; his grandchildren, Kelli Pritts (Nathan), Nicholas Waibel (Sandra), Austin Waibel (Karis), Phillip Wyss (Kristin), Benjamin Wyss (Laurel), Caleb Wyss (Bethany), Jared Wyss (Haley), Josh Wyss (Jenn) and Mindy Stalter (David); his sister Madelyn Rothgeb of Roanoke; and his sister-in-law Lydianne Wyss of Washington. He is also survived by 40 great-grandchildren.
