George Walk Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to George Walk of Goodfield, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. George left this world on January 20, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Walk and Deborah Coombs Walk; his wife Jo Ann Newlin; his son Brad Walk; and his sister Betty Lou Trexler.
He is survived by: his sons, Bruce Walk (Annie) and Brett Walk (Emmalou); his daughter-in-law Laura Jonen (Walk); and his grandchildren, Matthew Walk (Teri), Scott Walk (Sarah), Cody Walk (Lauren), Jairon Walk (Lacie) and Dana Wilson (Colten). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home (1800 Eastland Dr, Bloomington, IL 61704). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
