It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Gross (Goodfield, Illinois), born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on October 23, 2018, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Altes and Patricia Altes (Kopp). She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Patricia Lehman (Jason) of Goshen, IN, Katie Worthen (Ryan) of Goodfield, Cynthia Gross of Goshen, IN, Joshua Gross of Akron, CO and Tim Gross (Autumn) of Moline, IL; her grandchildren, Eli, Hannah, Emily, Abigail and Oliver; and her siblings, Lyle Altes (Sheri) of Austin, TX and Donna Yoder of Eureka. She is also survived by two nieces; and three nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Illinois State University College of Nursing, Campus Box 5810, Normal, IL 61790-5810 or to the Roanoke Mennonite Church, 1195 County Road 1600 E, Eureka, IL 61530.
