He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Bowles; his parents-in-law, Ronnie and Ellie Bowles; his children, Kelly Butler (Tommy), Kasey McMurtrey (Audie), Kimberly Hummel and Hannah Mixer (Kyle); his grandchildren, Tegan Butler, Allie Smith (Garin), Kelsea Snider (Justin), Samantha Stiefel (T. J.), Cody McMurtrey, Logan and Emma Dobbs; his sisters, Marsha Forrest and Debbie Brown (Rich); and his brother-in-law Tony Bowles (Susie). He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
