She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Reuschel and Mary Reuschel (Fredericks); her spouse Albertus F. "Bert" Ufkes; her siblings, Esther Buss (Benhard), Leta Post (Clarence), Mary Haschemeyer (Ernest), Ruth Ideus (Irwin), Elda Gronewold (Arnold), Henry Reuschel (Arlene), George Reuschel (Geneva) and Ben Reuschel (Cathy); her sister-in-law Isabel Reuschel; and her son-in-law Ed Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Maxine Lewis of Leominster, MA, Steve Ufkes of Bowen, Laura Petty (Jim) of Rock Falls, Bruce Ufkes (Brenda) of Bowen and Julie Bean (David) of Golden; her grandchildren, Scott Lewis (Michelle), Jennifer Taylor (Kevin), Mike Petty (Janice), Kelly Upham (Andy), Matt Petty (Nicole), Josh Petty (Lindsay), Samantha Petty (Jay), Jessica Brouwer (Jason), Jared Bean (Analisa), Justin Bean (Karisa), Janelle Bean, Josiah Bean (Liz), Joanna Bean and Jonathan Bean (Beth Ann); and her brother Louis Reuschel of Golden. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Golden Good Shepherd Home or Immanuel Lutheran Church, both in Golden.
