She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Womble and Nadyne Womble (Goodwin); her husband Captain James E. Roper; her son Nicholas E. Roper; and her great-niece Megan Kluge.
She is survived by: her sister Judi (Billy Hopwood); and her grandson James E. Roper. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, two great nephews and one great-great nephew.
