He is survived by: his son Larry Ashford; and his close friend Pauline Allen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Aly Funeral Home - Eddyville (1099 IL-145, Eddyville, IL 62928). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
