He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Alfred and Grace Slimp (Hackney); his former wife Allene Slimp; his wife Lois Slimp; and his brother Robert Slimp.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Slimp (Karen) of Golconda, Denise Otterson of Golconda, Bonnie Petit of Golconda, Lisa Williams (Mark) of Barlow and Ky Steve Stalions (Richard) of Austin, TX; and his siblings, Jo Pegg, Paula Barnes (Cecil), Lowell Alfred Slimp, Jr., Barb Cheek (Gary), Kathy Ellanbecker (Dave), Sherry Slimp and Raymond Slimp. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
