It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William W. Wooff (Godfrey, Illinois), born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on March 7, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William V. Wooff and Emily R. Wooff (Craddick); his spouse Peggy L. Woodman; and his sister-in-law Betty Wooff. He is survived by: his daughters, Rebecca Wooff (Steve Schneberger) of Midlothian, Kelly Schillinger (Dennis) of Alton and Michele Hlafka (Michael); his grandchildren, Todd (Amanda Brantley), Sarah (Greg Newton), Rachel Schillinger, Julia (Brad Roszak), Drew Abromovich, Dustin Abromovich, Austin (Mary Schillinger) and Luke Fisher; his great grandchildren, Tanner Newton, Sam Brantley, Kayla Brantley, Grayson Brantley, Liam Roszak and Hudson Roszak; his brother Roger Wooff of Bethalto; and his cousin Billie Drakes of Godfrey. He is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
