It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Joel Bohannon of Godfrey, Illinois, who passed away on July 7, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Bohannon and Vera Bohannon (Butler); his wife Ada Marceline Cooley; his grandson Derek Borth; and his siblings, Albert Bohannon, Emma Trammel and Esther Grimm.

He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Borth (Russ) of Normal, IL and Debbie Bearley of Godfrey, IL; his grandsons, Chris Borth (Connie) of South Carolina and Mark Bearley (Meghan) of Godfrey; his great grandchildren, Caleb, Isaac Borth and Maddie Bearley; and his brother Paul Bohannon (Jane) of Anna. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
