He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter John and Harriett Renken (Black); his children, Martha Pfister (Alex) of Chicago, Scott Renken (Linda) of Oakville, MO, John Renken (Jessica) of Ballwin, MO, Kenny Renken of Creve Coeur, MO and Thomas Renken; and his brother Bill Renken.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret E. Bierbaum.
