It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Milton Guthrie Jr. of Godfrey, Illinois, born in Hayti, Missouri, who passed away on March 13, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Milton Guthrie, Sr. and Hazel Guthrie (Shaffer); his stepdaughter Laura Zumwalt Quiroz; and his brothers-in-law, Ed (Judy Mathias) and Chris Johnson.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas S. Guthrie of Wood River and James Guthrie (Carla) of Hartford; his stepchildren, Kenneth Zumwalt (Lauri) of Torrington, WY, Monica Mazur of Alton, Theresa Franklin (Larry) of Alton and Jana Piercey (Bill) of Newport Beach, CA; his brother Larry Guthrie (Connie) of East Alton; his siblings-in-law, James Mathias (Beth), Mary Johnson and Rita Mathis (Clifford); and his nephew Larry Guthrie, Jr. (Along). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
