With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Earle Morrissey D. (Godfrey, Illinois), who passed away on February 28, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edmund H. Morrissey and Emma Morrissey (Miller); his wife Mary Josephine McGrath; his great grandchildren, Thomas Morrissey (Patty), Patrick Morrissey (Kim), Robert Morrissey (Joan), Stephen Morrissey (Laura) and Ann Morrissey; his grandchildren, Kathryn, Stephen (Elizabeth), Anna, Claire, Thomas Morrissey, MaryRose and Elizabeth Breheny; his great grandchild Davis Jane Morrissey; his children, Jane Louise Morrissey and Phillip Blake Morrissey; and his brother Edmund M. Morrissey. He was also cherished by four sons and one daughter, their spouses and seven grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Marquette Catholic High School or Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Alton.
