He was predeceased by: his parents, Festus Ward Hulse and Martha Ellen Tompkins Hulse (Mattie Ella); his wife Jane Ann Hulse (Wassell) of Hannibal, MO; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Trower (Richard), Edward Hulse, Francis Hulse (Virginia) and Laura Ruth Hulse.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Thurston (Eric) of Godfrey, IL and Kirk Hulse (Diane) of Collinsville, IL; his grandchildren, Erica McDermott (Brian) of Columbia, IL, Carley Arnsman (Josh) of Fowler, IL and Drew Hulse (Tori) of Reno, NV; and his great grandchildren, Riley, Janie, Wyatt McDermott, Deacon, Brinley, Maverick Arnsman, Gavin and Camryn Hulse. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hannibal LaGrange University General Scholarship Fund; Green Trails United Methodist Church; or to the church or charity of one's choosing, in care of Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.
