She was predeceased by: her parents, John Taul and Dorothea Taul (Ryan); and her siblings, Virginia Hughes, Edna Hartsock and Paul Jerome Taul.
She is survived by: her husband Vernon A. Schaefer; her sister Evelyn Atkinson of White Hall, IL; and her children, Deborah Heuer (Daniel), Daniel Schaefer (Susan) of Giddings, TX, Ruth Duda of Wichita, KS and Cathryn Demeur (Chris) of Buffalo Grove, IL.
