He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenard Hartman and Pearl Hartman (Sandage); his wife Deloris Darr (McNelly); his children, Lenard Hartman and Victoria Fischer; and his siblings, Geneva, John, Bill and Patricia.
He is survived by: his children, Romona Smith (Paul), Robert Allen Hartman, Jr. (John), Gwen Vollintine and Neil Darr (Beverly); and his close friend Donna Spencer. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
