He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence H. Propes and Luella Propes (Randall); his brother Edward Propes; and his sisters-in-law, Bess Propes and Arnita Parker.
He is survived by: his wife Marge; his daughter Karen Shaw (Bob) of Normal, IL; his granddaughter Sarah of Chicago, IL; his brother Gene Propes of Granbury, Texas; and his sister-in-law Judy Propes of Granite City, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
