It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Scharth (Godfrey, Illinois), born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on September 2, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Scharth and Mary Scharth (Demuth); his wife Linda Buchanan; his son Paul David Scharth; his siblings, Ruth Scharth, Edwards Scharth and Robert Scharth; and his granddaughter Mary Kate Scharth.
He is survived by: his children, Belinda Lewis (Rick) of Alton, IL, Sandra Marie Jackson (Donald) of Alton, IL and Alan Scharth (Terrie) of Dodge City, KS. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Due to the current State of Illinois restrictions on social distancing, the service is limited to 25 people or less.
