It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Joseph Hans of Godfrey, Illinois, born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on March 29, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hans and Mary Hans (Budde); his wife Dorothy Elizabeth Grelle; his daughter Linda Baze; and his sister Betty Wilkinson.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Cook (Danny) of Elsah, Stephen Hans of Godfrey, Tom Hans (Carol Sykes) of Brighton and David Hans (Mary) of Town; and his son-in-law Jim Baze of Godfrey. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Ambrose Catholic Church, the Godfrey Knights of Columbus or the VFW Ritual Team.
