He was predeceased by: his parents, Llyod Mearsch and Ethel Mearsch (Richey); his siblings, Donald Mearsch, Shirley Tovo and Linda Sawyer Mills; his siblings-in-law, Guido Tovo, Raymond Galloway, Derry Mills and Gloria Mearsch; his nephew Kevin Tovo; and his niece Kristen Galloway Barnhart.
He is survived by: his sister Janet Galloway of Godfrey, IL; and his nieces and nephews, Jeff Tovo (Sheri), Susan, Richard Tolleson, Angela Baab (Larry), Tracy Galloway, Dennis Mearsch (Michelle), Amanda Sawyer, Amy Sawyer, Michael Mearsch (Diana), Russell Mills (Charlene) and Edward Sawyer (Mandy).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Patrick's Cemetery in Godfrey.
