Barton of Godfrey, Illinois, born in Olney, Illinois, who passed away on September 19, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Barton and Frieda Barton (Smith); his wife Wanda "Gerri" Skaggs; his children, Kimberly Barton (David Overland) of St. Louis, MO and Mike Barton (Lisa) of Elsah, IL; his grandchildren, Alexis Gaither (Tommy), Taylor Kuhn (Alec) and Abby Barton; his great grandchild Theodore Kuhn; his siblings, Bill Drinnin (Bea) and Debra Carr; and his caregiver Jennifer Gottlob. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
