We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2021, at the age of 74, Max E. Heinz (Godfrey, Illinois), born in Decatur, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Heinz Sr. and Eileen Heinz (Deardorff); and his sister Pam Thompson. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Janet Thomas; his children, Jeffrey (Sue Heinz), Michael (Beth Heinz) and Ann; his son-in-law Jay Rakers of Godfrey; his grandchildren, Lauren, Rachel Heinz, Grant, Ava Heinz, Helen and Sophia Rakers; his sister Sandra; his brother-in-law Richard Bogle of Maroa, IL; his brother Jeff; and his sister-in-law Connie Heinz of Forsyth, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions, a private family viewing will be held Sunday January 17, 2021 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey.
Memorials may be made to St. Ambrose School in Godfrey.
