We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Mary Ellen Roemer of Godfrey, Illinois, born in Jerseyville, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Koster and Mary Whilmenia "Minnie" Koster (Beiermann); her son Christopher Roemer; her great grandchildren, Nathan and Matthew; her son-in-law David Vatole; and her brother-in-law Pete Steinacher.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen Fuhler (Mike) of Golden Eagle, Arthur Roemer (Kim) of Alton, Karen Smith (Rick) of Bethalto, Charlie Roemer (Crystal) of Godfrey and Mary Vatole of Cottage Hills. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Godfrey or to the MDS Foundation.
